RED | For Africa unveils Employee Alumni Council

RED | For Africa, the media company to reach and inspire the largest number of Africa’s youth at any time, recently unveiled its Employee Alumni Council, a committee comprising business professionals, thought-leaders, and creative minds who are past employees of the company.

Thanking the council for their presence and contribution at the inaugural meeting, Adebola Williams, CEO of RED | For Africa stated that the company has one of the most engaged alumni communities in Nigeria.

โ€œAt RED, we consider everyone that has passed through the company our alumni. They will always be a part of the family no matter where they are or the industries they play,โ€ said AdebolaWilliams.

โ€œThe RED | For Africa Alumni Council is our family think-tank. Having been part of us and knowing all we are about and what we stand for, the committee provides us with quality advisory, unparalleled insights and sound business direction, bringing fresh ideas and solid leadership to the organization.โ€

The Alumni Council meets twice annually to discuss and advise on the strategy of the group within the context of the companyโ€™s strategic direction. The current members include Ifeoma Okonkwo, Director of Finance, MG Entertainment Nig. Ltd; Fu’ad Lawal, Editor-in-Chief, Zikoko.com; Joachim MacEbong, Risk Management Officer, Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF); Damilola Oyedele, Senior Product Manager Amazon, Texas, U.S.A.; and Biodun Laaro, Senior Executive Coordinator, Global Operations Division Andela.
