As the US election draws closer, President Donald Trump has made a shocking announcement on his Twitter page.
He tweeted that he and the first lady, Melania Trump has tested positive for Covid-19. He went ahead to say that they would begin quarantine and recovery process immediately.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

The first lady, Melania Trump also confirmed Donald’s assertions on her Twitter page and tweeted that she is feeling good and has postponed all her upcoming engagements.
As too many Americans have done this year, @potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together.

Furthermore, the White House Physician, Sean Conley has also issued a memo confirming the positive tests for Covid-19. He wrote, “Rest assured I expect the president to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any future developments.”
