Fast-rising TikTok star and live streamer, Habeeb Hamzat better known as Peller recently made some comments about Nigerian singer Runtown during one of his live streams, and it has sparked an uproar online.
During a conversation with another streamer who asked to bring someone on their livestream, Peller responded by asking who it was his colleague, Oju wanted to add.
When Oju noted that she wanted to add Runtown to their live, Peller turned down the offer, saying he didn’t want an upcoming star who was yet to have their big break on his platform.
The comments made by Peller sparked a massive uproar from netizens and fans of Runtown. Many slammed the TikTok star, some called him disrespectful and ignorant.

The TikTok star has featured music superstars like Olamide, Davido and even former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua on his live-streaming platform.
He recently visited the Okoya mansion at Eleganza estate in Lekki, Lagos. His social currency and impact have grown tremendously over the past few years, and he seems to have a high taste.

This high taste has seen him reject having certain artists to be on his platform. The latest to get bashed by Peller is the ace singer Runtown.
Peller said:
“Wetin be Runtown? That one never blow. We no know am. Give me another person. Don’t bring upcoming artists on my live video. Na artistes wey don blow well well I want.”
Some have also opined that Peller is not to be blamed, as Runtown has refused to give his fans a hit for a long time.
