A fresh conversation has erupted on social media after Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State Governor, publicly criticized Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh over a recent public interaction with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill.
Ossai expressed disappointment after a video surfaced online showing Tonto Dikeh warmly hugging Churchill at a public event. According to him, the gesture was inappropriate considering Churchill is now married to actress Rosy Meurer.

In a statement shared on social media, Ossai Ovie Success wrote that he was โreally disappointedโ in the actressโ behavior, adding that she should have considered Churchillโs current wife before engaging in such a public display.
The clip of the reunion quickly gained traction online, with many users sharing mixed reactions. While some agreed with Ossaiโs position, arguing that boundaries should be respected in situations involving former spouses, others defended Tonto Dikeh, describing the moment as harmless and mature.
Supporters of the actress pointed out that co-parenting often requires cordial relationships between former partners. They argued that a brief public hug does not necessarily imply disrespect, especially if both parties have moved on.

Critics, however, insisted that public figures must be mindful of how their actions are perceived, particularly when new marriages are involved.
Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were previously married and share a son together. Their separation was highly publicized and at the time sparked widespread media attention. Churchill later married Rosy Meurer, and the couple now has children together.
As of the time of this report, neither Tonto Dikeh nor Olakunle Churchill has issued an official response to Ossai Ovie Successโ comments.
The incident has once again highlighted how celebrity interactions continue to generate intense online scrutiny in Nigeriaโs entertainment and political spaces. Social media users remain divided over whether the moment reflected maturity between ex-partners or crossed an emotional boundary.
