Following the death of the Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, the former Commissioner for Health, the Ondo State Government has appointed Professor Fatusi to head the State Inter-Ministerial Committee Against Covid-19.

The newly appointed Chairman, Professor Adesegun Fatusi is the current Vice-Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State. He is also a professor of Community and Public Health and he once served as a provost of the College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
