Kano Pillars FC went unbeaten for over 30 games last season and if you ever listen to their fans or watch a game at the Sani Abacha stadium in Kano, you would understand why.

The Sai Masu Gida are without doubt the most vocal fans in the Nigerian Professional Football league and as Kano Pillars played out a 1-1 draw with NPFL new boys, MFM FC, Kano Pillars fans at the Agege stadium thrilled us with their sheer enthusiasm.

Away from their home turf and a fully packed Agege stadium, you would have been forgiven if you thought Pillars were playing at home!
