After his recent triumph at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), Nollywood actor Gabriel Afolayan has taken a minute to consider his decades-long acting career.
For his role in the movie Inside Life, the award-winning actor won Best Supporting Actor.
He proudly displayed his AMVCA trophy in an emotional Instagram post after the event, expressing his excitement and thanks.
Gabriel Afolayan described his career path in entertainment in the piece, stating that he started performing in 1990 as a youngster.

He returned to the screen in 2000 after taking a hiatus to concentrate on his studies, and by 2005, he had become well-known.
He claims that ever since, he has been enjoying the fruits of his labour and enthusiasm.
His post, which emphasised the importance of perseverance, commitment, and consistency over time, was both a personal reflection and an inspiration to aspiring young professionals in the field.
