NIGERIA LIFTS BAN ON RELIGIOUS GATHERINGS

The Federal Government through the statement of the Secretary-General of the Federation and the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha, has relaxed the restrictions placed on religious gatherings. The Secretary-General of the Federation disclosed this during the Presidential Task Force Briefing on Covid-19 on Monday.

He also mentioned that this relaxation would only take place for four weeks in order to ensure that a proper observation is done on the spread of Coronavirus. He also said that each State Government would highlight the protocols and guidelines to be followed by religious centres. The Federal Government has also rescheduled the curfew hours which is now between 10am – 4am
