Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly denied claims that he physically assaulted his wife, actress Regina Daniels, asserting instead that she is grappling with drug and alcohol addiction which, he says, has triggered violence and chaos in their home.

In a statement released on his verified social-media page and picked up by multiple news outlets, Nwoko described the circulating allegations of domestic abuse as โfalseโ and accused Regina Daniels of being โthe violent one here.โ He added that he has never been accused of violence by any of his other wives, suggesting that this was a unique situation connected to her alleged substance issues.
According to the senator, the actress recently attacked three domestic staff members within a 48-hour period, destroyed vehicles, smashed windows, and threatened their resident nurse after a confrontation over her behaviour. He claimed the outbreak was linked to her relocation to a place where sheโd have โunrestricted access to drugs,โ and said he had urged her to enter a rehabilitation programme either in Abujaโs Asokoro area or abroad in Jordan.

The controversy follows a viral video in which Regina Daniels appears distraught and says: โIn Ned Nwokoโs house I am nothingโฆ I cannot stand the violence, it is too much.โ Her brother, known as Sammy West, had earlier alleged that the senator sent thugs and was responsible for physical assaults on his sister.
In his post titled โReginaโs Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,โ Nwoko referenced footage of a damaged car and burnt material in the home as evidence of the alleged disturbances. He said the coupleโs son, Moon, needed hospital attention while โchaos unfolded at home.โ
Neither party has offered further documentation at this stage. Regina Daniels has not yet issued a public response to her husbandโs allegations. The marriage of the couple has been the subject of repeated public speculation, particularly because of their wide age gap and the high-profile nature of both individuals.
