Ibanga Bassey Etang, the acting Exectuve Director of Finance of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) died on Wednesday after a brief and undisclosed illness. It was also reported that the Director had been conspicuously absent from work throughout this week at the office headquarters in Port Harcourt.

The Executive Director died in the middle of the ongoing audit of the organization’s forensic accounts after an allegation of fraud against the organization. We pray that his family will be comforted in this season and we also pray that his soul rest in perfect peace.
