Nathaniel Bassey Announces: Hallelujah Challenge 2026 Begins February 9–28

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has officially announced that the 2026 edition of the Hallelujah Challenge will run from February 9 to February 28, 2026.

The Hallelujah Challenge clocked eight years in 2025. What began as a simple midnight gathering has grown into a global movement that brings Christians from all over the world together to worship, praise, and pray to God at midnight.

Over the years, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has consistently shared that the Hallelujah Challenge is anchored on the Scripture:

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.”

He often humorously adapts the verse by replacing “Paul and Silas prayed” with “Nathaniel Bassey and friends prayed,” emphasizing the collective nature of the experience.

One of the most beautiful aspects of the Hallelujah Challenge is the diversity of ministers who grace the platform. Pastor Nathaniel Bassey regularly hosts music ministers, pastors, and apostles from different parts of Nigeria and beyond. Over the years, notable ministers such as Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Jerry Eze, Minister Lawrence Oyor, Moses Bliss, and Victoria Orenze, among others, have ministered during the sessions.

Each edition of the Hallelujah Challenge usually culminates in a grand celebration known as the Hallelujah Festival; a massive open-field gathering where tens of thousands of people come together to offer uninterrupted praise to God. The most recent edition, held in November, recorded attendees who travelled from outside Nigeria to be part of the experience.

As Pastor Nathaniel Bassey often reiterates, the Hallelujah Challenge is not a trend but a movement of God for this present time. The countless testimonies of healings, miracles, restorations, and life-changing encounters shared by participants across the world continue to affirm this.

The Hallelujah Challenge streams live on Instagram (@nathanielblow) and YouTube (@Nathaniel Bassey Main), making it accessible to participants globally. This has made The Hallelujah Challenge reach millions of people globally.
