The Nigerian Army has buried an Army Colonel who was murdered by unknown gunmen following his kidnap.

Colonel Samaila Inusa was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Sunday in Kaduna and was found dead today after the Army announced reward for information leading to his discovery.

He was buried at the old National Defense Academy cemetery and was given a three gunshot salute.
