MultiChoice Tribute to Stephen Keshi

MultiChoice Nigeria is paying tribute to the late Stephen Keshi, former Super Eagles coach and one of the most iconic captains of the Nigerian national football team with a special re-broadcast of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final. The match will air today on SuperSport 9 at 10am and 7:30pm; SuperSport Select 1 at 2pm and SuperSport 3 at 10pm.

DStv subscribers on Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access and GOtv subscribers on GOtv Plus and Value will be able to re-live the exciting moments of the match and watch how the late Keshi led the Super Eagles to win the tournament in 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The โ€˜Big Bossโ€™ as he was fondly referred to was one of only two men to win the Africa Cup of Nations both as a player and a coach.

In addition, MultiChoice will showcase a documentary titled, โ€œBig Boss: A Tribute to Stephen Keshiโ€. Subscribers can look forward to this documentary which will be screened on SuperSport channels 3, 9 and Select 1.

Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe speaking on Keshiโ€™s untimely demise said, โ€œWe are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Nigeriaโ€™s iconic football hero. His death is indeed a huge loss not only to Nigerian but African football. He will be greatly remembered for putting Nigerian football on the global mapโ€.

MultiChoice Nigeria celebrates the life of this great Nigerian football legend.
