Michelle Obama’s inaugural episode of her podcast dropped on Spotify today, Wednesday, 29th June, 2020, as she had earlier announced. Her first guest was her husband, who is also the former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

The couple started off the podcast with jokes about quarantining together during the lockdown which ensued out of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 49-minute episode was a discussion about the Obamas respective upbringing, the collective responsibility to communities and the forthcoming American elections as well as the protests in America over George Floyd’s death.
