Popular Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie, reacted to a report that reality star Mercy Eke, winner of 2019 Big Brother Naija, is a local star.
The actor who was not pleased with the description given to Mercy quickly took to her defense and corrected the impression that she is local Via his tweeted account.
Edochie noted that popular footballer Cristiano Ronaldo speaks English language with a Portugese accent and has never been referred to as being local.
He emphasized the fact that Nigerians are not white. Edochie also made it clear that Mercy is not local but should be seen as a Nigerian.
White people messed up our brains making us see our own ways as local.
