Kids in the past generation and kids in the 21st century are very much different from one another in the following aspects:

Access. The world is literally a small village now, a miniscule speck. The wealth of information at everyone’s fingertips is overwhelming and kids in the 21st century have more access to information than kids who grew up centuries ago.

Depression and Suicide: Depression and suicide rates among the kids in the 21st century is quite on the rise as these children are more susceptible and vulnerable to issues that affect their mental health and self development.

Greater opportunities: Since the advent of civilization and internet, more opportunities have been open to kids of the 21st century which was not available to kids of past generations.

Bullying: The rates of bullying is higher in the 21st century kids as more attention is now being drawn to what the kids in the past generation did not pay attention to. Bullying has also taken a step higher among kids of the 21st generation, as kids now resort to cyber bullying and online trolling.

Liberalism: Kids of the 21st generation are taught liberality in manners of thinking, so that they can form a healthy thought process about themselves and the world. This was not available to kids in the past generations as their parents/guardians usually made decisions for them
