The Director-General of the Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola, has released a statement stating that certain social clubs, lounges and bars who flouted the Coronavirus ban have been closed by the Lagos State Government. The Director also said that basic preliminary investigation were conducted before the closure of the night clubs.

The Director further stated that other social clubs who have not registered under the “Register to Open” Initiative should do so and those who are registered should not take it as a license to reopen without the express permission of the Lagos State Government
