Sisters Cuppy and Temi Otedola are hosting a spectacular showcase of African Art, Music & Fashion on 4th October at the international auction house Bonhams in London. The event is being held in partnership with Aliko Dangote’s Dangote Foundation.
To the accompaniment of drinks and canapés, the selected guests will hear an update on the Dangote Foundation’s vital charitable work in Nigeria and the rest of Africa, and then enjoy a fashion presentation masterminded by Temi Otedola. The evening wraps up with a set by Cuppy Otedola now an established name on the international DJ circuit.
A spokesman for the Dangote Foundation said, “We are delighted to be taking part in this exciting evening and to be able to present our important charitable work in Africa”. Mr Dangote himself will be attending the event.

Bonhams Africa Now sale brings together the best of the continent’s contemporary artists and the auction on 6 October boasts works by such famous names as Nigerian-born Peju Alatise (Unconscious Struggle, £30,000-40,000); Ghanaian El Anatsui (Spirits, £90,000-120,000) and the South African artist William Kentridge (Reservoir, £40,000-60,000).
