Philip Shekwo, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has been found dead.

Philip Shekwo was kidnapped by suspected hoodlums in the late hours of Saturday at his home in Lafia. Bola Longe, Commissioner of Police confirmed the news of his demise to Channels Television.

According to Bola, the lifeless body of Shekwo was seen not far from his house in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital. His remains have been sent to the Dalhatu Araf specialist hospital.
