Controversial Nigerian media personality Kemi Olunloyo has publicly responded to statements made by Dr Adedeji Adeleke, father of Afrobeats singer Davido, regarding the ongoing DNA controversy involving teenager Anu Adeleke.
Kemi’s response followed a detailed account shared by Dr Adeleke in which he insisted that multiple DNA tests confirmed Davido is not Anu’s biological father and alleged that Kemi Olunloyo has been managing Anu’s Instagram account behind the scenes.

In a video and series of posts shared online, Kemi strongly denied the accusations, stating that her involvement in the matter has been misrepresented and unfairly targeted.
Kemi Olunloyo clarified that she initially helped Anu’s mother open the Instagram account years ago but said she later handed over full control to Anu herself. According to her, the account was created to document the young girl’s life and achievements and not to attack or pressure Davido or his family.
She also denied claims that she continues to run the page or manipulate public opinion, insisting that she stepped back long ago and has no reason to interfere in the family’s affairs.

Kemi further stated that she has always been concerned about Anu’s welfare and mental health, stressing that the controversy has placed unnecessary emotional strain on the teenager over the years.
Responding directly to Dr Adeleke’s comments about her credibility, Kemi said she found it unfair to be mentioned in a family dispute she claims she no longer actively participates in. She maintained that her past involvement was based on information shared with her at the time by Anu’s mother.
Kemi also questioned aspects of the DNA testing narrative, reiterating earlier claims that the process was flawed and lacked transparency. She alleged that earlier tests were not independently supervised and called for a clean, internationally monitored DNA test to put the matter to rest permanently.
Her response has triggered renewed public debate, with Nigerians once again taking sides on social media. While some users accused her of prolonging the issue, others argued that her statements raised valid questions about how the situation was handled.

Supporters of Davido largely echoed Dr Adeleke’s position, pointing to repeated claims of negative DNA results and urging all parties to move on. Meanwhile, others expressed concern about the impact of the public back and forth on Anu, calling for discretion and restraint.
As of now, Davido has maintained his position that multiple DNA tests have already been conducted, while Anu’s mother continues to insist that her daughter deserves clarity and closure.
