She highlighted a specific incident following Wizkid’s Grammy win when she released a statement celebrating the global success of Afrobeat.

Despite her thoughtful message, media outlets reduced her role to her personal relationship with Wizkid, overlooking her significant impact as a manager and businesswoman.

“When Wizkid won a Grammy, I wrote a statement about how far Afrobeat has come.

They published the statement, and the caption was ‘Wizkid baby mama,’” she explained.

“The narrative doesn’t recognise that I’m an entrepreneur and a hardworking businesswoman.
