inDrive Supports Displaced Lagos Residents With ₦75 Million Relief Initiative

Global mobility platform inDrive has provided over ₦75 million worth of humanitarian relief to residents of Lagos affected by recent community demolitions, reinforcing its growing commitment to social impact and community support in Nigeria.

The relief initiative was delivered in collaboration with the Tolu Aniwura Welfare Foundation (GenerousMe) and took place at St. Paul Catholic Church, Ebute-Metta. It targeted families and individuals who were displaced and left vulnerable following the demolitions.

More than 2,000 beneficiaries received support through the intervention, which focused on meeting immediate survival needs while restoring dignity to affected households. The relief packages included a wide range of essential supplies, from food items to household necessities, baby care products, and educational materials for children.

Food supplies distributed included staple items such as rice, beans, garri, noodles, spaghetti, cooking oil, tomato paste, seasoning cubes, and salt. In addition, beneficiaries received clothing, blankets, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, rechargeable lamps, power banks, and other household essentials. Families with young children were provided with baby care items, while school-aged children received school packs containing bags, notebooks, and writing materials.
