Veteran Fuji Musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 de Ultimate (Kwam1), recently revealed in an interview the various ways he has sought closure with God, and he is still seeking.
Kwam1 disclosed that he is a bona fide member of the Celestial Church of Christ. King Wasiu Marshal revealed his search for true meaning within the religious sphere has seen him serve God as a Muslim and as a Christian.

He further disclosed that in his quest for God’s grace and favour, he has built churches and made various donations towards the works of God.
Kwam1 noted during the interview how he had built churches as gifts in his search for God’s favour. He said:
“I am a bonafide member of the celestial church, a proud one, I even built a church. I sought for religion in the two religions”.

Wasiu further shared his reasons for going into Christianity, despite being born a Muslim. He noted that he has always wanted to know more about God, which explains why he constantly moved towards religion.
The 68-year-old, who was once at loggerheads with his junior colleagues, Pasuma and Saheed Osupa, is regarded by many as the King of Fuji music.

The Fuji crooner became a global sensation when he first went on his international music tour in 1986. He toured North America and Europe between 1986 and got the opportunity to perform at Hammersmith Town Hall in 1987.
He performed alongside his band, the ‘Talazo fuji’.

This isn’t the first time Kwam 1 has trended online for his comments relating to religion. OSG recalls reporting when he commented about some Islamic clerics who visited his home when his mum passed away. He alleged they were there because of money and not for altruistic reasons.
