“I dropped out of Babcock” – Tayo Aina shares
In his post, Tayo revealed how he had to drop out of the first university he attended, Babcock because his grades were terrible, and his parent could no longer pay his school fees.
He shared that after leaving Babcock, he gained admission into FUTA but graduated with a second-class lower.
After leaving school, he became a taxi driver just to make ends meet before finally getting to pursue his passion, which was storytelling.
Here’s an excerpt of Tayo’s story:
Dropped out of my first uni (Babcock) cause my grades were shit and my parents couldn’t afford the fees. Graduated from the 2nd uni (FUTA) with a 2nd class lower, then started driving for Uber to make ends meet.
Growing up, I never really liked school cause I always believed my success would come from chasing something I was passionate about. That passion was storytelling. Well, today I got invited to speak about this same passion at “The School” (Harvard) 🏫. God’s Plan!
