The race to the democratic party presidential ticket is heating up ahead of ‘Super Tuesday’.
Former Secretary of state, Hillary Clinton has been widely expected to pick up the ticket easily but the primaries have been far from easy.
Bernie Sanders has proved to be a tougher opponent than many expected and is giving Hillary Clinton a run for her money in the primaries.
After winning New Hampshire, Bernie Sanders’ popularity soared as he looked to push Clinton all the way.
However, Hillary looks to have recovered following a huge win in the Nevada primaries and now another win in South Carolina.
Although all the results are not in yet in South Carolina, Hillary Clinton has taken a commanding lead. Bernie Sanders conceded defeat last night as he told supporters “In politics, on a given night, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Tonight we lost,”
Sanders will definitely be looking to Super Tuesday with primaries scheduled for 11 states as it will serve as a real make or break for both candidates.
