Last year’s prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) was held with much glitz and glamour at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The man of the night, Kunle Afolayan and his psychological thriller, October 1 ran out landslide winners as he got a total of nine awards, including Best Movie and Best Director and Best Actress (Drama) award for Kehinde Bankole.
Fast forward to 2016, #OSG did some findings to know what the talented movie maker has been up to since his big win at the AMVCA.
One thing we can attest to is that the actor cum director had a busy 2015. From landing endorsement deals with Air France, Lagos Chambers of Commerce and recently Peugeot to completing his latest project, ‘The CEO,‘ we can say Kunle Afolayan has been a busy man with a mission to take a leading role in moving making in Africa.
Although his new project could not make the AMVCA this year, we are sure it would be a hit back to back in the next edition come 2017.
