The Coronavirus pandemic has caused a turnaround in the perspective of most Nigerians about Nigerian doctors, nurses and other health workers who might have been once considered as wicked and inhumane.

This is because the health workers, who are at the highest risk of being infected with the virus are the same ones who are the frontliners in the battle against the Coronavirus pandemic. In the last few months, Nigerian health workers have stepped into war against the pandemic and their sacrificial efforts cannot go unappreciated.

Surely, some frontliners have lost their lives to the virus in a bid to protect the entire community from being infected with the virus. As the victory day draws closer, we celebrate all health workers and we hope that in the fight against Coronavirus, our health workers won’t become victims of the pandemic.
