Reggae Blues crooner Harrysong, Nollywood star, Nkem Owoh aka Osuofia  and Sound Sultan paid surprise visits to MTN subscribers carrying out their SIM Registration exercises at Owerri, Aba and Abuja and recently.

Harrysong, the reggae blues crooner stole the attention of the MTN subscribers, when he took over the registration duties from the MTN attendant Centre located at the Rockview Hotel in Owerri.  The ambience at the Hotel De Lapex, Aba, was no less dramatic with Nkem Owoh’s appearance livening up proceedings at the Mega Registration Centre. The excited customers had more than they bargained for as the Nollywood Star registered some of them.

MTN Subscribers at the A Class Park and Event Centre, Maitama also had a fun time with Sound Sultan aka Naija Ninja. The presence of the Orobo crooner was certainly the climax of activities for subscribers who thronged the Mega Centre for registration.
In line with directive of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on the registration and validation of all mobile phone users in the country, MTN Nigeria has made concerted efforts to ensure the process is as seamless as possible.

For ease of access, some of the mega centres are located in Lagos – Oshodi, Festac, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Ikeja and Ipaja, Alimosho. Others are located in Abeokuta, Ibadan, Ilorin, Enugu, Aba, Owerri, Port-Harcourt, Warri, Calabar, Kano, Katsina, Jos, Bauchi, Abuja and Kaduna. The mega centres are designed to reduce the queues and facilitate a seamless registration process.
Subscribers who register their lines in the ongoing exercise are rewarded with bonus airtime ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 to call their loved ones.
