A recent video shared by Pheelz is getting people talking, not because of a new release, but because of a simple rule he believes every artist should follow in the studio—leave ego behind.
He explained that when people enter a studio trying to prove a point or protect their pride, it limits the flow of ideas. Instead, he believes the best results come when artists allow the music to lead, creating freely without pressure or competition.
To reinforce this mindset, Pheelz revealed a personal rule in his own space. At his home studio, he has a sign he wrote himself that reads, “Leave your ego here,” with an arrow pointing directly to a trash bin placed at the entrance. The message, he said, is intentional; anyone stepping into the studio is expected to drop their ego before joining the session.
