Nigerian singer and songwriter Abisagboola Oluseun John, professionally known as Bankulli has been invited by the Grammy to become a member of the academy class of 2020.

His latest achievement comes after he was bashed by rapper Yung6ix over issues pertaining to the money he has collected from young artistes in the name of taking them abroad to meet American superstar rapper, Kanye West.

Announcing his new status on twitter, he wrote;

“I have been invited to become a part of the new @RecordingAcademy member class, I’m honored to have an opportunity to celebrate, represent, and give back to the music and its creators. #WeAreMusic #grammyawards“
