Nigerian artists Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr have made it to Rolling Stone’s prestigious list of the “Top 100 Albums of 2024,” highlighting albums that have achieved global recognition this year.
Rema’s second studio album, Heis, claimed the 11th spot, with Rolling Stone describing it as a “unique, buzzy, and visceral” body of work.
Tems’ album, Born in the Wild, earned the 37th position, praised for offering a “physical and emotional listening experience.”
Ayra Starr’s second album, The Year I Turned 21, ranked 53rd for its demonstration of the singer’s musical growth and passion.
In 2022, Asake’s debut album, Mr. Money, also made it to the list, marking another milestone for Nigerian artists in global music recognition.
