First Bank of Nigeria Limited has presented 20,000 units of e-learning devices to the Lagos State government to support the online educational system all over Lagos.
The e-learning device is configured in such a way that learning in line with the governmentโs accredited curriculum for schools across various fields of academic endeavours becomes easy from home. It is built to promote cost-effective learning as there is minimal need for internet connectivity, whilst learning on the device is on-going.
With the gesture, the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu said the State had found a โreal development partnerโ in First Bank, noting that the intervention came at a time the Government was massively deploying technology to transform the conventional mode of teaching and learning.
These devices will be useful to students in these times as the impact of the pandemic has shut down schools. This technology will enhance and transform the mode of teaching and learning and curb the effect of corona virus on education.
