The Federal Government has reached out to the National Association of Resident Doctors to forestall a looming strike by the association.
A meeting to iron out the contentious issues has been scheduled for Tuesday, according to the President of NARD, Dr Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi.
This comes after the association listed some other terms and conditions for the federal and state governments to meet or else it would embark on strike.
In light of these discussions, President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his medical trip to the United Kingdom as earlier scheduled for Friday.
