Despite being considered by many as outsiders in the UEFA Champions league, Manchester City progressed to the Quarter Finals.

With Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure out through injuries, it was hard to see how Manchester City hoped to fare well at the Park De Princes.

Manchester City drew first blood through Kevin De Bruyne who returned just last week after three months on the sidelines and City looked like they were set to go into half time in the lead.
However a horrible pass from Joe Hart to Fernando saw Ibrahimovich intercept and led to what has to count as the easiest goal of the Champions league.
Rabiot then tapped in from a Joe Hart punch to put the Parisians in the lead and City had some fortune of their own as Fernandinho’s deflected shot drew the affair level.
