Federal Government has ordered unity schools to reopen on Monday, October 12, 2020.

This was announced by the Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, who said the COVID-19 curve has been flattened after the unity schools had been closed since March.

The Minister of Education also said that schools across the country are at liberty to fix resumption dates and ensure that there are adequate safety measures while doing so. “Schools who fail to adhere to outlined COVID-19 safety protocols risk closure if there is any outbreak from such learning facilities,” he warned.
