Facebook has announced a new feature that promises to make birthday wishes the coolest things in the world.

Wave goodbye to the litany of abbreviations that have come to define birthday wishes… “HBD”, “LLNP” “WULLNP”…

Starting on Monday, Facebook will allow you record 15 second videos and post it right to your friend’s timeline! It’ll also give you a slew of birthday themed banners to spice up your videos to tell the special people in your life how much they mean to you.

Unlike Twitter, Facebook seems to be on a roll with hugely successful features with the most recent being its friends day feature to celebrate its 12th anniversary.
