Nigerian Professional Football League champions, Enyimba FC of Aba have confirmed that their team bus was attacked by a band of armed robbers today.

The incident occurred at Okene, Kogi state as the team was traveling for the Super Four tournament in Kaduna.

Although the robbers made away with valuables, no one was hurt in the attack.
Enyimba FC posted on Twitter “We can confirm that our team bus was attacked by armed robbers this afternoon in Okene, Kogi State on our way to Kaduna for the #SuperFour.”

“Thankfully, there were no injuries during this unfortunate incident. Players and officials were however stripped of all valuables,”
