Film lovers also enjoyed a private screening of a documentary celebrating the rise of Afrobeats and the global growth of African entertainment. The screening drew a strong audience, and conversations afterwards focused on storytelling, distribution, co production opportunities and the future of African cinema in international markets. Speakers encouraged young filmmakers to stay consistent and take advantage of digital platforms that continue to expand access to African films.

Music professionals had their own series of conversations about the evolution of the African sound. Producers, performing artists and managers exchanged ideas about streaming growth, global touring possibilities and the importance of cross-continent collaborations. Attendees agreed that the music industry remains one of the strongest drivers of Africaโ€™s creative economy.

Creators in the digital and tech space also found their place during the day. The content creation and tech sessions explored new tools for production, virtual studios, online monetisation and the role of creative technology in storytelling. Many young Africans who attended these sessions described them as some of the most practical and inspiring discussions of the week so far.

Networking remained one of the biggest attractions throughout the day. The Deal Room, a meeting point for investors and creative entrepreneurs, was active with pitches, introductions and partnership conversations. Many participants said they appreciated how open and collaborative the environment felt, making it easy to discuss ideas and explore new opportunities.

The presence of reality TV stars, fashion icons, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, digital creators and music talents made November 20 one of the most engaging days of the event. Entertainment Week Africa continues to grow in influence, and each day has highlighted the importance of collaboration and community within Africaโ€™s creative sectors.

As the summit moves into its remaining days, attendees are looking forward to more showcases, more industry conversations and more moments that elevate African creativity on the global stage.
