Eniola Badmus Fires Back at Pimping Allegation on X, Threatens Legal Action

Nollywood actress and political appointee Eniola Badmus has strongly denied allegations circulating on X that accused her of linking aspiring actresses with influential men for exploitation.

The accusation was made by an X user identified as @Femzydr, who claimed that Badmus, now serving as Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, facilitates inappropriate connections between young actresses and film directors, executives, and politicians.

The post quickly gained attention online, triggering heated reactions and calls for evidence. However, no proof was provided to back up the claims.

Responding to the accusation, Badmus described it as false and malicious. She made it clear that she would not treat the matter lightly, warning that appropriate authorities would take action.

In her reaction, she stated that such defamatory claims would not be forgiven, adding that โ€œwe do not forgive in this zone,โ€ signaling her readiness to pursue legal remedies if necessary.

Supporters of the actress have since rallied behind her, describing the allegation as damaging and urging social media users to avoid spreading unverified claims. Others have called on the accuser to present concrete evidence or retract the statement.

The controversy also revived memories of a similar 2023 case involving TikToker Ego Blessing Okoye, who previously made related allegations against Badmus. Okoye later admitted that her claims were fabricated and reportedly faced legal consequences for cyberstalking and defamation.

As of the time of this report, the new allegation remains online, with many observers calling for accountability and responsible use of social media platforms. No formal charges have been announced in connection with the latest accusation.

The development has once again spotlighted the growing issue of online defamation and the legal risks associated with making unverified claims against public figures.
