The Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has emphasized that empowering women is crucial to achieving Nigeria’s $1 trillion economy target by 2030.
Speaking during the distribution of food items under the federal government’s end-of-year intervention, she noted that women are central to President Bola Tinubu’s vision of economic transformation, highlighting their role in sectors like agriculture, creative industries, and digital technology.
The initiative, part of Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, aims to support vulnerable women and families, addressing the impact of economic challenges.
