The actress passed away from problems from low blood sugar and intestinal haemorrhage, according to a close friend who first posted the news on social media.

Details of Monalisa Stephen funeral plans were made public by her family on May 22. They stated that a private interment will start at noon on Thursday, May 22, 2025, and that the ceremony would start at that time.
