Saudi Arabia’s King Salman is on a five day visit to Egypt in a bid to strengthen relations between both countries.

Just a day after announcing a plan to build a bridge between both countries, Egypt has ceded two islands to Saudi Arabia.

Egyptian officials have said that the strategically important Islands of Tiran and Sanafir are within Saudi Arabia’s maritime belt.
Public censure has greeted the announcement in Egypt, with several people claiming that Saudi Arabia is merely exploiting Egypt.
