Lagos’ luxury hospitality scene is celebrating a major win as The Delborough Lagos received two top awards at the 2025 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards held in Tróia, Portugal. The prestigious event recognises excellence in global luxury hospitality, and The Delborough’s recognition reinforces Nigeria’s growing prominence in the international tourism and lifestyle space.

The hotel earned “Best New Luxury African Hospitality Brand” and “Best Luxury Lifestyle Boutique Hotel – Africa & Nigeria.” Its founder and CEO, Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, was also honoured with the title “Seven Stars Man of the Year” and inducted into the elite Seven Stars Pantheon of Hospitality for his visionary leadership and contribution to African luxury hospitality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Emanuele Secondo, General Manager of The Delborough Lagos, accepted the awards on behalf of the team, stating that the recognition reflects “a commitment to exceptional service, innovation, and the authentic African luxury experience.”
