The death toll from an earthquake in Ecuador has hit 413 as rescuers continue to recover bodies from beneath the rubble of collapsed buildings.

Ecuador’s fragile economy will be stretched even further by the cost of rebuilding as the extent of damage from the earthquake is devastating. Ecuador’s President has said it will cost several billions to finance rebuilding.
