Nigerian music superstar Davido (real name David Adeleke) made headlines on 23 October 2025 when he met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. The meeting was shared by Davido on social media with images taken at the Élysée Palace, where he posted: “It was an honour meeting @EmmanuelMacron and sharing our visions for a better world 🇳🇬🇫🇷.” 

Accompanying Davido were his manager Asa Asika and celebrity businessman Cubana Chief Priest (Pascal Okechukwu). The photos show all parties in friendly conversation, underscoring the significance of the encounter. 

While Davido did not reveal detailed outcomes of the meeting, he characterised it as a platform to exchange ideas and reinforce cultural diplomacy.
