At the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), veteran Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka had a memorable evening as she won Best Actress for her exceptional performance in Femi Adebayo’s film Seven Doors.
A star-studded four-day festival of African film and television came to a close with the prestigious awards ceremony held at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.
Some of the biggest stars in entertainment across the continent came together for the AMVCA from Wednesday to Saturday, with the closing night highlighting Nollywood’s magnificence.
Chioma’s victory was especially poignant since, soon after the news was announced, the adored actress posted a touching video to Instagram.
