Veteran entertainer and activist Charly Boy has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Senate President Godswill Akpabio, following Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s decision to report him to the United Nations over alleged sexual harassment.
Taking to Instagram on March 12, 2025, Charly Boy expressed his frustration over the state of Nigeria’s leadership, criticising the political class and calling out those in power.
He wrote, “From the Presidency, the Supreme Court justices, the law enforcement agencies, the House of Representatives members, and Horny Senators, my people, Nigeria has scattered. Reminds me of my song “1990.”
The activist attacked the men of the National Assembly, calling them “deplorable” and “undistinguished,” in reference to the ongoing dispute between Senator Natasha and the Senate president.
“The National Assembly has the highest numbers of anyhow men without value or shame, if you like, very randy dogs, deplorable and undistinguished. We can all see what’s playing out with the Senate President’s sex scandal, an act that has followed him around as a politician. Now, we are witnessing how victims are punished and the guilty flexing all over the place.”
“Nonsense. My people, globally, na for Nigeria that real criminals are in power. A congregation of crooks, drug peddlers, and sex predators is in charge of Nigeria. Dia fathers.“
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s controversy intensified after the Senate suspended her due to “unparliamentary conduct.” Many think that her accusations against Senate President Akpabio are the reason behind this politically motivated action.

Shortly after publicly accusing Akpabio of sexual harassment—a charge that shocked Nigeria—Natasha was suspended.
The Senate quickly took disciplinary action against her rather than addressing her charges, which fuelled suspicions of a cover-up. Natasha did not back down, either, and on March 11, 2025, she brought her grievances to the UN.
Nollywood actor Emeka Nwagbaraoch also weighed in on Natasha taking the case to the UN.
He wrote, “Natasha has refused to remove her hand from his neck! Very, what??? Very good!!!” Plus iron, plus teeth, no breathing space.”
