There aren’t a lot of TV shows that can hold an audience spellbound for six seasons..go on, I’ll let you count the handful on just one hand.

That’s what ‘The Good wife’ has managed to do, delivering six seasons of awesome with Julianna Margulies playing the lead role of Alicia.

The sad news is, the seventh season of The Good Wife will be the last, with the producers disclosing that “We’re looking forward to using this seventh season to bring Alicia’s story to its natural conclusion. We couldn’t be more excited and grateful.”

The announcement was made at the Superbowl 50 as it was revealed the final season will have nine episodes with a season finale billed for May 8.
