Blaqbonez vs Odumodublvck: Diss Track “ACL” and Chat Leak Fuel Rap Beef Escalation

The tension between Nigerian rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck has entered a new phase. What began as a series of social-media jabs has evolved into a full-on rap beef, propelled by Blaqbonez’s newly released diss track titled “ACL”, and the circulation of alleged direct messages (DMs) tied to the dispute.

In “ACL”, Blaqbonez doesn’t pull any punches. The song features pointed lyrics targeting Odumodublvck and his crew, questioning their relevance and authenticity in the Nigerian hip-hop space. The track draws its title from the term used in football when a player attempts to mimic another’s move but ends up injured signaling Blaqbonez’s assertion that Odumodublvck is simply trying to imitate without success.

Adding fuel to the fire are leaked private messages featured in the visualiser for “ACL”—that claim to have originated from Odumodublvck’s camp. These DMs were presented as part of the track’s narrative and have stirred even more public interest, as fans debate the authenticity and implications of these messages.

The root of the beef appears to be two-fold: first, Odumodublvck’s earlier remarks on his podcast suggesting his album “EZIOKWU” outperformed his peers triggered backlash from Blaqbonez’s camp.  Then came public exchanges of insults on social media, with Odumodublvck alleging Blaqbonez is borrowing his label’s support and that he lacks bookings. Blaqbonez responded by challenging him to settle their dispute in the studio rather than online.

Fans of Nigerian hip-hop are watching closely. Many believe this could escalate into one of the major beefs in the country’s rap history and one marked not just by social media barbs, but by serious lyrical showdowns that demand studio responses and undeniable tracks. The question now is: will Odumodublvck fire back with his own diss? And if he does, will it match the intensity of “ACL”?

For now, both artists remain active on the scene. Blaqbonez seems to have the upper hand in this round, thanks to the aggressive tone and timely release of “ACL”. But in a game where comebacks define careers, a response from Odumodublvck could turn the tide. The hip-hop community waits for the next move.
