APC Women Leader attacks Sen. Oluremi Tinubu

Just when we thought the whole saga about the altercation between Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Senator Dino Melaye has died down, the Women Leader of the All Progressive Peoples Party, Mrs. Funmilayo Olumodeji speaks.

She didn’t just speak, she appeared to take a different path from every other woman in Nigeria; yeah she attacked Senator Tinubu saying she was wrong to insult Senator Melaye and hinting that the Senator paid all the women who protested on her behalf.

She said this in a recent interview, and even much more. Read what she said below:

โ€œThe person to blame for the disagreement is Senator Remi Tinubu. Even though we were not at the meeting where the altercation took place and may not know what led to the disagreement or who started it because it was a closed-door meeting, yet I was well briefed on the development.

โ€œFrom what I gathered, it was Senator Tinubu in her usual character that started it by hurling insults at Senator Melaye and calling him names. It does not speak well of a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who is serving her second term. โ€œ

โ€œShe has clearly deviated from her calling as a representative of the women cause. Where was Remi Tinubu when our girls were being kidnapped, raped, forced into marriage or even killed and thrown into canals?

โ€œEven, the Presidentโ€™s wife had at one time or theย  other added her voice, but it is not onย  recordย  that Senatorย  Tinubu had joined in the struggleย  for the liberationย  of womanhood. Today, kerosene sells for N200 a litre; we did not hear her uttering a word about this but instead, she has been busy insulting her colleagues and gathering women by spending millions of naira on them to protest on her behalf.โ€

At the time of filing this report, the Senator was yet to react to the accusation.

It seems this is Just the beginning!
